Chris and the Team

Chris has over 20 years experience in cabinet making and is passionate about creating quality, bespoke pieces of work for people to enjoy in their homes. Chris Copley Furniture was established in 2011, the same year Chris married Mary. They have 2 children and live on Mary's family farm, where the workshop is in the yard, so we all see a lot of eachother!

Tim joined us as an apprentice in 2019 and remains a valued part of our team. Richard joined us in 2022 and is an experienced pair of hands with over 15 years under his 'tool' belt.

Based in Nottinghamshire / Leicestershire

The workshop has great access off the A46, near Keyworth and West Bridgeford, so ideal for all East Midlands locations, travelling throughout Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Rutland and Derbshire, we also travel further afield and have done numerous projects in London.

History

Chris comes from a farming family and has always had an interest in creating things using craftmenship. Having worked with a local cabinet maker since he was 16 gaining invaluable experience,  achieving NVQ Level 2 in Handcrafted Furniture and obtaining a wide knowledge of all types of woodwork.
